One of the most effective ways to break through your limits, is to recognize that most of them are self-imposed and all constructed in your own mind. It can be very difficult to recognize this, but once you do you can start working on deconstructing those limits that you have built over the years. And don't be too hard on yourself, often these self-imposed limits that we struggle with were started by others when we were young and forming an idea of who were are. Unfortunately, your younger self took those things, that were most likely just opinions, and made them facts. And over the years, those "facts" became the foundation for what you believe you are, limitations and all.
Through the process of Life Coaching I have learned the best way to break through your limitations is to first identify them for what they really are. Identify why you believe them to be true. Then recognize where they came from, when and why you started to believe them. From there you can remove power from the words and actions of those in your past and start to rewrite that narrative. Then you can start moving past those limitations by creating a new mental image of what you are capable of.
