You feel it. I feel it. It's on the face of your coworkers, right there on the surface. Or maybe you notice it in a family member who has worked for months to keep it buried. But yeah, you see it.
We are overwhelmed. It's causing us to shut down. Then nothing gets done. And then we feel even more overwhelmed AND we feel like we are failing ourselves because we have not been able to accomplish the things we expected we could do.
It becomes a loop of overwhelm, inaction, feeling bad about ourselves, then feeling overwhelmed, then inaction (again) and then feeling bad (again) and so on and so on.
So how do we stop feeling overwhelmed right now? There are several ways to move past overwhelm, and I wanted to share what works for me. That said, what I do works for me, BUT it must be acknowledged, what works for some does not always work for others. Like a life coaching session, everything should be specific for each individual. I fully recognize it may not work for you, but it might be worth trying. I want you to be able to move past the feelings of overwhelm and experience some personal growth.
